Yotpo Partner Awards 2023
Yotpo provide an advanced ecommerce marketing platform that arms brands with tools to drive revenue, maximise customer lifetime value and turn one-time shoppers into customers for life. Their yearly partner awards celebrate the achievements of their top agency and tech partners, and recognises their contribution to creating stand-out ecommerce experiences.
This year, Yotpo has selected Underwaterpistol to win their coveted Excellence Award for Europe, the Middle East and Africa - and we’re over the moon about it.
Omaze’s ecommerce transformation
When considering who should win the Excellence Award, Yotpo took into account specific projects that showcase an agency’s expertise. For Underwaterpistol, this project was our work with Omaze.
Since 2012, Omaze have been making headlines with their awe-inspiring Million Pound House Draws, where participants get to raise money for charity while also securing a chance to win life-changing prizes. After achieving success in the US, Omaze approached us to help them take the UK market by storm.
This comprehensive process involved designing and building a sleek, speedy UK site that establishes trust and maximises conversions by keeping the user journey clear and concise.
We also implemented automated email flows, including an immensely successful abandoned cart flow, that takes users straight to the checkout where they can amend their order or apply voucher codes. This proved to be an effective way to increase revenue and attract customers back to the site.
Driving revenue with Yotpo SMSBump
After launching their new UK site, and achieving success through dynamic email marketing, the Omaze team sought new channels to provide their users with a more tailored journey and encourage customers to come back to the site in the future. Enter, Yotpo SMSBump.
Omaze had a very clear idea of how they wanted to utilise SMSBump’s features, which involved expanding beyond the existing options and rebuilding the Yotpo forms to suit the customer journey they’d already set up. We introduced an SMS sign-up form to their thank you page (to avoid impacting the conversion at checkout), which enabled Omaze to deliver post-purchase messages to their customers.
Using Yotpo SMSBump for targeted SMS campaigns, Omaze leveraged a low-cost, high-return marketing channel that contributed to the immense success of the brand’s new site launch.
From June-December 2022, Omaze collected 110,000 SMS subscribers (the majority of which were from their order confirmation page) and generated $891K in revenue, exceeding the UK benchmark for program ROI at more than 20x. The average CTR for their flows was 30%, and the CVR was 11.61%.
