<p><strong>Developing high-quality B2C e-Commerce solutions for brilliant brands</strong></p>
<p>Type: Contract<br>Location: Remote / Work From Home<br>Hours: Full Time (35 hours) or Part Time (Open to suggestions)<br>Shift Pattern: Within UK hours: Either 9am - 5pm OR 12pm - 8pm<br>Rates: Based on skill set, varying between intermediate to expert developer.</p>
<p>Please note: As our projects can turn around extremely fast, any interviews would be based on future works, so that we have time to fully technically assess capabilities before appointing on our ongoing projects.</p>

<h2>About you</h2>
<p>The ideal candidate will be a talented and passionate developer who has the ability and experience to deliver fantastic e-Commerce projects including Shopify, Magento &amp; BigCommerce), with great attention to detail, aptitude for problem-solving, and good communication skills to liaise quickly and efficiently with the rest of the team!</p>
<p>We will consider strong e-Commerce developers who don‘t have any previous Shopify experience, but are prepared to put the time in to get to know the platform.</p>
<h2>What you will do</h2>
<ul>
<li>Build out design comps accurately</li>
<li>Build bespoke middleware and APIs</li>
<li>Write structured, well-organised and reusable code</li>
<li>Inspect and troubleshoot bugs and other QA issues</li>
<li>Keep abreast of best practices/trends/tools</li>
<li>Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs</li>
<li>Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders</li>
<li>Perform various third party integrations into Shopify Stores</li>
<li>Contribute to the development of off-platform projects, e.g. apps, dashboards.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Required Skills and Experience</h2>
<ul>
<li>5+ years Front-end or full-stack developer experience</li>
<li>3+ years recent ecommerce experience, as a frontend or full stack developer (within the last 5 years)</li>
<li>Advanced or Expert proficiency in all of the following the following skills:</li>
<ul>
<li>JSON</li>
<li>HTML</li>
<li>CSS3 / Sass</li>
<li>JavaScript</li>
<li>Github</li>
</ul>
<li>Also, experience with Liquid</li>
<li>Proficient experience in Vanilla JavaScript</li>
<li>Proficient in written and spoken English</li>
<li>Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them</li>
<li>Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/Mercurial/SVN</li>
<li>Good understanding of SEO principles</li>
<li>A good eye for design great attention to detail</li>
<li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>A strong understanding of UX design</li>
<li>Experience with Python, Ruby or PHP (and their respective frameworks)</li>
<li>Experience building custom middleware and APIs</li>
<li>Experience with Shopify's APIs</li>
<li>Experience with Javascript Frameworks (React, Vue, Angular or other)</li>
<li>Experience using Node.js</li>
</ul>
